Job Title: Senior Financial Risk Analyst

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly analytical professional to assume the role of Senior Financial Risk Analyst. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing loan applications to ensure eligibility, accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal and regulatory guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate loan applications to minimize risk factors and maximize portfolio performance
  • Analyze documentation for accuracy and completeness, identifying potential issues and areas for improvement
  • Making independent decisions regarding acceptance and risk of loans according to industry standards and investor guidelines
  • Provide final approval underwriting of loans – Conventional, Correspondent, FHA, VA, Reverse
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field is required
  • Minimum of 3- 4 years of experience in Underwriting with thorough knowledge of financial and non-financial supporting documentation, income calculations, asset/liability & appraisal verification, credit report review
  • Knowledge about risk and compliance in lending especially the FNMA & FHLMC underwriting standards
