Procurement Specialist

The Procurement Specialist is responsible for managing end-to-end sourcing projects to ensure maximum value, efficiency, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee sourcing projects from initiation to contract award, ensuring adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and develop RFx documents.
  • Negotiate with suppliers to achieve optimal pricing and terms.
  • Manage contract remediation, including data privacy, OCIR, and country-specific terms.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and buying channel optimization.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and sourcing best practices to enhance category management.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in procurement or a related field, preferably in technology procurement within financial services.
  • Strong expertise in RFx development, contract negotiations, vendor management, and compliance.
  • Proven experience in contractual review and redlining.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across divisions.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and data-driven decision-making skills.
  • Leadership qualities to set objectives, coach teams, and drive operational effectiveness.

Preferred Skills:

  • Background in operational/core procurement teams in technology.
  • Regulatory remediation experience (Data Privacy, OCIR, etc.).
  • Familiarity with industry frameworks and governance practices.
