Purchasing Supervisor Job Opportunity

As a Purchasing Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a project team and performing tasks involved in the formation and administration of complex purchase orders. You will also prepare purchasing master pro-forma documents and develop & monitor project workhour estimates.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise a team of assigned Purchasing personnel and provide guidance on industry standards and best practices.
  • Prepare and administer complex purchase orders, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget.
  • Develop and monitor project workhour estimates to ensure accurate forecasting and resource allocation.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 12-18 years of relevant industry experience in purchasing and expediting functions on Energy / Infrastructure / Mining & Metals / Manufacturing & Technology projects.
  • Post-graduate specialization in Supply Chain Management is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of legal and commercial aspects of global procurement of equipment and materials.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively inform and work with supervisors of other project functional groups.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated expertise in workload distribution and execution, as well as personnel interviewing, selection, performance evaluation, career counseling when delegated, training.
