**Job Brief**

We are searching for a well-organized Purchasing Executive to join our growing team.

As the purchasing officer, you will carry out all the tasks which may include conducting research on potential vendors and suppliers, inspecting goods, and updating records. You should be able to negotiate pricing and transport costs.

To be successful as a purchasing officer you should be able to multitask and evaluate products and vendors. Exceptional purchasing officers should be smooth negotiators with a keen eye for detail.

**Responsibilities**
- Conducting product research and sourcing new suppliers and vendors.
- Sourcing materials, goods, products, and services and negotiating the best or most cost-effective contracts and deals.
- Negotiate contract terms of agreement and pricing
- Purchase the Order after respective TL approval
- Make the Purchase Order as per the decided rate and payment terms.
- Tracking the orders and ensuring timely deliveries.
- Resolving shipments in error with suppliers.
- Verifying suppliers invoice with given order copy
- Arrange material pick-up from local supplier/ or local shop in a planned and proper way.
- Verifying receipt of items by comparing items received to items ordered.
- Monitoring purchased products to ensure quality
- Inspecting stock and reporting any faulty items or inconsistencies immediately.
- Maintain database - update and file all material requisitions, quotations and purchase orders as per company’s SOP
- Issuing purchase reports including the cost analysis.
- Submit the Invoices to the Accounts department.
- Coordinate with store to check stock levels as required and place order as needed

**Required Skills and Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, or a related field may be required.
- Previous experience in a similar position.
- Proficiency in the relevant management software programs.
- Superb written and verbal communication and negotiation skills.
- Great organizational and planning skills.
- The ability to identify market trends and make decisions in a high-stress environment.
- Excellent networking and time management skills.

**Salary**: Up to ₹30,000.00 per month
