Government Digital Transformation Specialist

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in identifying, fostering, and incubating large-scale digital transformation projects for government entities at both central and state levels.

Your primary responsibility will be to establish strategic relationships with senior-level officers within government ministries, states, UTs, and their departments.

This role requires understanding the challenges faced by these officials and proposing innovative digital solutions leveraging emerging technologies.

You will also be responsible for managing initiatives to align with our mission of digital transformation for public good.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish Strategic Relationships:
  • Nurture and initiate strategic relationships with senior government officials to foster opportunities for digital transformation.
  • Client Relationship Management:
  • Manage existing engagements and sustain relationships through cross-sell and up-sell opportunities.
  • Achieve Breakthroughs:
  • Initiate new projects and initiatives in accounts with existing traction.
  • Engage New Clients:
  • Build foundational relationships through strategic outreach and cold calling.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Prior experience working within the government ecosystem is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and nurture strategic relationships at the highest bureaucratic levels within government.
  • Strong understanding of identifying, fostering, and incubating large-scale digital transformation projects.
  • Familiarity with emerging technologies and their use cases is essential.
Skills & Expertise:
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills for engaging with senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to understand complex government challenges and translate them into actionable digital solutions.

Reporting: This position will report directly to the CEO of the Wadhwani Government Digital Transformation (WGDT) unit.
