Product Launch Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure seamless translation of product designs into manufacturing requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement engineering changes and manage production processes.
  • Develop and maintain accurate assembly documentation, including SOPs and APBs.
  • Prepare and manage Bills of Materials for all products, creating part numbers for components as needed.
  • Monitor End-of-Life status of products and plan accordingly.
  • Track and manage component obsolescence, particularly electrical items, and alert the engineering team when necessary.
  • Coordinate development projects from prototype to mass production phases within the organization and with external partners.
  • Verify and ensure all relevant information/documents are released in project management tools.
  • Manage data integrity within these tools and ensure availability with external partners.
  • Support ISO audits to ensure compliance with relevant standards.
  • Lead pilot builds, resolve issues quickly, and establish repeatable processes for production scaling.
  • Work collaboratively with various teams for successful product launches.
  • Build strong partnerships with suppliers, contract manufacturers, and stakeholders.

Requirements:

  1. Minimum 5 years of experience in product launch/manufacturing/program management.
  2. Strong knowledge of supply chain, manufacturing processes, and quality standards.
  3. Proven experience working with vendors, contract manufacturers, and cross-functional teams.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or Production Engineering is preferred.
