Senior Messaging Expert

We are seeking a senior messaging expert to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of applied experience and formal training or certification in software engineering concepts.

The role involves expertise in messaging systems such as Kafka, ActiveMQ, and cloud infrastructure provisioning using Terraform. Additionally, the candidate should have proficiency in AWS messaging platforms like Amazon MSK, Amazon MQ, and Amazon SQS, as well as knowledge of microservice architecture and implementation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Possess formal training or certification in software engineering concepts with 8+ years of applied experience.
  • Expertise in messaging systems such as Kafka, ActiveMQ, etc.
  • Strong knowledge of Kafka concepts, managed Kafka, topic migration, multi-cloud cluster connectivity, replication, and platform-level intricacies.
  • Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure provisioning.
  • Proficient in one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, Go, etc.
  • Good understanding and knowledge of microservice architecture and implementation.
  • Hands-on experience in delivering messaging systems design, application development, testing, and ensuring operational stability.
Requirements
  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Master s degree is a plus.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with messaging systems like Kafka, ActiveMQ, etc.
  • Deep understanding and practical experience with Kafka concepts and managed Kafka services.
  • Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure automation.
  • Strong proficiency in AWS messaging platforms (Amazon MSK, Amazon MQ, Amazon SQS, etc.).
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages (Java, Python, Go, etc.).
  • Experience with microservice architecture and implementation.
  • Proven ability to design, develop, and deploy messaging systems, ensuring operational stability.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred qualifications include advanced certifications related to Kafka or AWS messaging services, previous experience in a senior leadership role focused on messaging and streaming systems, and experience with multi-cloud environments and connectivity strategies.
