Academic Mentor Role

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Academic Mentor to support students in achieving their full potential. As a mentor, motivator, and guide, you will play a crucial role in shaping the educational experience of students.

About the Job:

The Academic Mentor will be responsible for building positive relationships with students, tracking academic progress, and maintaining strong relationships with parents. You will also lead student activities, clubs, and programs that encourage both academic and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build trusting relationships with students and provide guidance and support to help them excel academically and personally.
  • Organize and lead student activities, clubs, and programs that foster academic and personal growth.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and counselors to address student concerns and resolve conflicts.
Academic Performance & Support:
  • Monitor student academic progress and identify challenges to provide necessary interventions.
  • Conduct continuous assessments and evaluations to track student understanding of the curriculum.
  • Work closely with teachers and counselors to develop customized academic plans for students requiring additional support.
Parent Communication & Collaboration:
  • Maintain regular communication with parents to keep them updated on their child's academic and personal development.
  • Organize and participate in parent meetings and conferences to discuss student progress and goals.
  • Address parental concerns and provide guidance and suggestions to support their child's education at home.
Data Management & Reporting:
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, assessments, and behavioral observations.
  • Prepare reports and conduct data analysis on student performance and development for internal use and communication with parents and school leadership.
  • Utilize Management Information Systems (MIS) and other educational software for efficient data tracking and reporting.
