Job Title: Electrical Engineering Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineering Project Manager to oversee and coordinate electrical design projects from concept through execution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Electrical Design Review and Coordination
  • Lead the review and coordination of electrical designs for ongoing and upcoming projects, ensuring alignment with project time, cost, and scope targets.
  • Collaborate with project consultants and engineering teams to design and specify plant electrical equipment, substations, and MRS (Main Receiving Stations).
  • Finalize project specifications for electrical equipment, switchgear, and cables in accordance with the latest design standards and regulatory norms.
  • Project Engineering and Monitoring
  • Track, monitor, and control project deliverables to ensure alignment with strategic operational objectives.
  • Coordinate the preparation and review of Material Take-Off (MTO) lists and Bills of Quantity (BOQ) to support timely procurement activities.
  • Monitor engineering progress and update stakeholders on status and critical changes.
  • Drawing and Documentation Review
  • Review equipment manufacturing drawings and general arrangement (GA) drawings to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Manage the preparation and final review of as-built drawings for project documentation and handover.
  • Stakeholder Management and Support
  • Act as the single point of contact for assigned projects from concept through execution.
  • Conduct regular project review meetings to identify issues and plan effective countermeasures.
  • Provide technical support to the construction team and resolve field engineering issues.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong expertise in electrical design and engineering within the Chemical, Petrochemical, or Refinery sectors.
  • Solid experience handling grassroots-level project activities.
  • Ability to manage complex engineering deliverables and coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
  • Skilled in vendor development and coordination with project design consultants.
