Electrical Draughtsman – Solar PV (Entry-Level)

  • Location: Ahmedabad | Full-time | Office-based
  • Minimum 1 Year hands-on experience in Electrical Drafting
    (excluding residential and commercial building wiring systems)
  • Freshers eligible if certified in AutoCAD for Electrical Drafting

Do NOT Apply If:

  • You are a 
    fresher without a certified AutoCAD course in electrical drafting
  • You have experience 
    only in residential or commercial wiring
     (non-relevant)
  • You come from a 
    civil or mechanical background
  • You are a 
    site engineer
    , 
    O&M technician
    , or looking for a design/engineering role
  • You are 
    not able to work full-time from our Ahmedabad office

Must-Have Skills & Requirements

  • Understanding of 
    electrical symbols
    , 
    SLD formatting
    , and 
    layout drafting
  • Basic familiarity with 
    solar PV projects
    , 
    equipment layout
    , or 
    panel interconnections
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage 
    version control
     and 
    multiple revisions
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow 
    layering, line types
    , and 
    standard drawing practices

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and edit electrical 
    single-line diagrams
    , 
    layout drawings
    , and 
    cable schedules
     in AutoCAD
  • Work under the guidance of electrical design engineers for project-specific drafting tasks
  • Maintain drawing folders, version control, and standard formatting as per project requirements
  • Support in creating drawing sets for submission, approval, and execution
  • Coordinate with civil and structural draughtsmen for cross-disciplinary alignment
