- Job Title: AutoCAD Drafter

**Overview**:

- An AutoCAD Drafter is responsible for creating precise technical drawings and designs using AutoCAD software. They collaborate with engineers, architects, and designers to translate conceptual ideas into detailed blueprints.

**Responsibilities**:

- Design and Drafting:

- Create 2D and 3D drawings and models using AutoCAD software or or other designing software.
- Develop detailed technical drawings based on sketches, blueprints, and specifications.
- Modify existing drawings to reflect design changes or updates.
- Ensure accuracy and adherence to industry standards and client requirements.
- Work closely with engineers, architects, and designers to understand project requirements.
- Communicate effectively to clarify design intent and provide technical input.
- Participate in design reviews and provide feedback on drawing accuracy and completeness.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD software and its various tools and functions.
- Knowledge of drafting principles, standards, and symbols.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Project Management
- Organize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Meet project deadlines and deliverables.
- Maintain clear and organized documentation.

**Qualifications**:

- Associate degree or technical diploma in drafting or related field.
- Proven experience in AutoCAD drafting.
- Strong knowledge of drafting principles and standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience in a specific industry (e.g., architecture, engineering, manufacturing) is a minimum of 1 year of experience.
- Proficiency in additional CAD software.
- Knowledge of building codes and regulations.
