Job Description
At 2coms, we are seeking a highly skilled Mortgage Investor Reporting Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the organization by performing various activities related to Loan Servicing functions.

The Mortgage Investor Reporting Specialist will be responsible for performing several reporting-related tasks in support of the department, including remittance reporting, balancing, preparing reports, maintaining accurate records, identifying payment discrepancies, providing analysis, and more.

The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of investor reporting principles and concepts, including debits and credits, cash flow requirements, bank reconciliations, and more. They will also be proficient in processing mortgage funding transactions and payments, completing wire transfers and ACH transfers.

The Mortgage Investor Reporting Specialist will work closely with the team to ensure accurate and timely reporting and remittance of mortgage payments to investors. They will also be responsible for performing reconciliations and analysis for the Investor Reporting Group.

The successful candidate will have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines. They will also be a strong communicator and team player, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform remittance reporting, balancing, and preparing reports
• Maintain accurate records and identify payment discrepancies
• Provide analysis and support to the team
• Process mortgage funding transactions and payments
• Complete wire transfers and ACH transfers
• Perform reconciliations and analysis for the Investor Reporting Group
• Assist in month-end close activities, including booking journal entries and remitting investor funds
• Assist in audits and other ad-hoc requests
• Validate classification of transactions as remittances, wires, and advances
• Verify backup in servicing system
• Ensure data accuracy between remittance reporting and servicing records
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of investor reporting principles and concepts
• Proficient in processing mortgage funding transactions and payments
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders
• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• 2+ years of experience in investor reporting or a related field
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Ability to learn and adapt to new systems and processes
