Our company is seeking an experienced and skilled engineer to fill a project position that requires supporting the development of high-quality, cost-effective solutions aligned with industry standards and customer requirements.The ideal candidate will have a professional degree or master's in electrical engineering and extensive knowledge of power systems studies and electrical network modeling. They must also possess a strong understanding of electrical power system design and be familiar with international standards such as IEC, IEEE, and DIN.The successful candidate will work collaboratively across disciplines, suppliers, and customers to drive supplier document comments, responses, and tracking. Key responsibilities include coordinating with other departments, creating and maintaining trackers for documents, leading the design and specification of main circuit equipment for high-voltage systems, conducting equipment-related studies to ensure compliance with contract specifications, quality, and safety standards, and providing cross-disciplinary technical support.Additionally, the successful candidate will participate in equipment testing and site commissioning, evaluate supplier proposals, and ensure equipment is fit for purpose. They will also collaborate with the supply chain team to define and communicate technical requirements to suppliers and maintain a strong professional network to share best practices across projects.Requirements include holding a professional degree or master's in electrical engineering, possessing extensive knowledge of power systems studies and electrical network modeling, having a strong understanding of electrical power system design, being familiar with international standards, and having excellent interpersonal and communication skills.A deep understanding of power systems equipment, including transformers, capacitors, reactors, instrument transformers, circuit breakers, disconnectors, surge arresters, gas-insulated switchgear (GIS), station loss and heat loss estimation is also required.Knowledge of French, German, or Swedish is an advantage.
  • Hold a professional degree or master's in Electrical engineering
  • Extensive knowledge of Power Systems studies and electrical network modelling
  • Strong understanding of Electrical Power System design
  • Familiarity with international standards such as IEC, IEEE, and DIN
  • Knowledge of Power Electronics applications in HV EHV systems (e.g., HVDC, FACTS) is a plus
  • Proficiency in equipment selection, sizing, and integration based on customer specifications
  • Deep understanding of Power Systems equipment, including Power Transformers, Capacitors, Reactors, Instrument Transformers, Circuit Breakers, Disconnectors, Surge Arresters, Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS), Station Loss and Heat Loss Estimation
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Knowledge of French, German, or Swedish is an advantage
