Overview of the position:

A high-voltage (HV) inverter mechanical design engineer is responsible for the mechanical aspects of designing and developing high-voltage inverters

Roles & Responsibilities:

Role: Design and develop mechanical packaging, structures, and thermal management systems for high-voltage power inverters.

Responsibilities:

1. Knowledge of HV Inverter Mechanical Design and development.

2. Basic understanding of High voltage Inverter components like Power modules, DC Link capacitor, EMC filter, Shielding's.

3. Knowledge on the clearances and creepage

4. Knowledge on the basic simulations on Structural, Thermal, etc.

5. Advanced/expert in Unigraphics NX (Modelling, Drafting, Plastic & casting design, Generative sheet metal, Generative shape design, DMU).

6. Excellent drafting knowledge and best practices of the drafting according to the international standards.

7. Knowledge of Geometrical Dimensioning and Tolerancing

8. Experience with design for manufacturing and assembly (DFM/DFA)

9. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

10. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

11. Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
