Position TitleSenior Site Execution Maintenance Substation QualificationBachelors degree in electrical engineering or a related field OverviewThis is a critical role in the maintenance and operation of high-voltage electrical substations He or She is responsible for ensuring the reliable and efficient operation of high-voltage electrical substations including planning coordinating and executing maintenance activities as well as troubleshooting and resolving technical issues Key ResponsibilitiesMaintenance Planning Develop and execute maintenance plans for high-voltage electrical substations including routine maintenance repairs and replacements Work Execution Coordinate and execute maintenance work on substation equipment including circuit breakers transformers switchgear and other high-voltage electrical equipment Troubleshooting Identify and resolve technical issues related to substation equipment and systems including fault analysis diagnosis and repair Quality Control Ensure that all maintenance activities are performed in accordance with established standards procedures and regulatory requirements Team Management Supervise and mentor a team of technicians and engineers to ensure that maintenance activities are performed efficiently and effectively Communication Collaborate with other teams including operations engineering and management to ensure that maintenance activities are aligned with business objectives and priorities Compliance Ensure that all maintenance activities are performed in compliance with relevant laws regulations and industry standards Requirements Experience Minimum 5-10 years of experience in electrical maintenance preferably in a substation environment Technical Skills Strong knowledge of electrical substation equipment including circuit breakers transformers switchgear and other high-voltage electrical equipment Troubleshooting Skills Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues related to substation equipment and systems Leadership Skills Ability to manage a team of technicians and engineers to ensure that maintenance activities are performed efficiently and effectively Communication Skills Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate with other teams and stakeholders Certifications 1 Certified Electrical Engineer CEW 2 Certified Maintenance Technician CMT 3 Certified Reliability Engineer CRE Working Conditions 1 Work Environment High-voltage electrical substations which can be hazardous due to electrical shock and other safety risks 2 Physical Demands Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds climb ladders and work at heights 3 Travel May require occasional travel to other sites or offices Overall the Senior Site Execution Maintenance Substation is a critical role that requires strong technical expertise leadership skills and the ability to work effectively in a high-voltage electrical environment
