Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our West Region operations. The ideal candidate must have strong expertise in end-to-end warehouse operations management, cost optimization, and service excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Regional Leadership: Manage and oversee warehouse operations for the West Region, ensuring adherence to policies, compliance, and safety standards.
- P&L Management: Full ownership of regional warehouse P&L including budgeting, cost control, productivity, and profitability.
- Operational Excellence: Drive efficiency in inbound, storage, inventory management, order processing, picking, packing, dispatch, and returns.
- Solutioning & Process Improvement: Design and implement customized operational solutions for customers, optimize layouts, manpower planning, and material handling systems.
- Customer Management: Build strong relationships with key customers; ensure SLAs and KPIs are consistently met.
- Team Management: Lead, train, and motivate the operations team to deliver high performance and service excellence.
- Compliance & Audit: Ensure adherence to statutory requirements, health & safety standards, and internal audit guidelines.
- Technology & Automation: WMS, and other digital solutions to drive efficiency and visibility in operations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 10–15 years of experience in warehouse operations & logistics, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong expertise in P&L management, operations design, and customer solutioning.
- In-depth knowledge of warehousing processes, local compliances, and labor regulations in Maharashtra (Bhiwandi region preferred).
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Proven track record of handling large-scale warehouses / multi-client facilities.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
