Medical Visualization Specialist

Job Summary:

We're seeking a skilled Medical Visualization Specialist to collaborate with scientists, researchers, and clients in creating accurate and visually compelling medical illustrations.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Create high-quality 2D/3D medical and surgical illustrations, anatomical drawings, and journal cover visuals that effectively communicate complex concepts.
  • Work closely with scientific writers and clients to understand technical content and translate it into precise and impactful visuals.
  • Evaluate and represent scientific and medical subjects with accuracy, clarity, and consistency.
  • Craft a wide variety of projects, including medical figure enhancements, journal covers, graphical abstracts, and educational diagrams.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and upholding design excellence.
  • Provide creative input and feedback to enhance overall project output.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years of professional experience as a Medical Illustrator (or related role in scientific visualization).
  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Medical Illustration, Biomedical Visualization, Life Sciences, or related fields.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing anatomical, surgical, and scientific illustrations.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Illustrator, Photoshop, and experience with 3D illustration tools.
  • Ability to accurately depict anatomy, physiology, and medical concepts in visual form.
  • Capacity to handle multiple projects and tight deadlines with precision and focus.
