We're seeking a skilled Scientific Illustrator to join our team.

The ideal candidate will combine scientific expertise with creative design skills to produce accurate and visually engaging materials.

Responsibilities:

  • Create compelling graphical abstracts that represent the essence of a scientific study.
  • Analyze scientific manuscripts to extract key visual elements and concepts.
  • Develop storyboards that outline the visual narrative, ensuring alignment with the scientific content and objectives.
  • Generate initial sketches to illustrate visual concepts, collaborating closely with researchers and clients to refine and finalize the visual representation.

Requirements:

  • Graduate or PhD degree in STEM fields (Biology, Biotechnology, Medicine, Chemistry, Physics, Engineering).
  • 3-5 years of experience in scientific illustration, communicating science into visually engaging output.
  • Advanced skills in Adobe Design Suite (Illustrator and Photoshop).
  • Creativity and ability to think outside the box is an added advantage.
  • Experience in scientific illustration, medical illustrations, journal cover designs, and graphical abstracts.
  • Understanding of the scientific publishing landscape.
