HR Manager Job Description

About our team in India:

We are a global company that provides consulting, software and services for various industries.

The company is headquartered in Berlin, Germany and has more than 20 locations around the world.

This role will enable and support the growth of our team in India by implementing and enhancing our employer brand.

The ideal candidate should have strong expertise and work experience (8-13 years) in the field of HR in a global company.

Purpose of the Role

The purpose of this role is to implement and enhance our employer brand in India, attract and hire new team members, organize and ensure successful onboarding, and cope with challenges like cultural differences, fast-paced market, and competitors.

Responsibilities:
  • Support employee retention with stable local HR operations & processes, attractive benefits.
  • Sponsor relevant training and learning opportunities, and their implementation as local sparring partner for the business and the global L&D team.
  • Execute relevant L&D processes locally, set up necessary talent development processes and measures for local team members.
  • Ensure all legal and administrative requirements are fulfilled in a compliant and timely manner.
  • Support local team and supervisors in all HR matters, acting as HR Business Partner for the business and management of the office in India.
Requirements

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • Strong expertise and work experience (8-13 years) in the field of HR in a global company.
  • Very good knowledge of recruiting channels in India, existing network to local headhunters / recruiting agencies.
  • Experience with high volume recruiting together with an external service provider.
  • Payroll experience and extensive knowledge of Indian employment laws.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Fluency in MS Office and HR software (ideally Workday).
