Financial Planning and Analysis Specialist

Dentsu is seeking a highly skilled Financial Planning and Analysis Specialist to join our UK&I FP&A team based in Bangalore. This role is a key part of the overall financial planning and analysis function, responsible for supporting the budget, forecasting, and month-end process for the Media Service Line.
Key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining and updating various formats, trackers, and repositories as required;
- Preparing and submitting Service Line budgets and forecasts to the SAC Planning System;
- Reviewing and validating output from above to ensure accuracy, consistency, and providing informed variance analysis;
- Acting as a backup to the main analyst, with opportunities to grow into the analyst role over time;
- Coordinating and communicating FP&A requirements for the [Media Service Line];
- Coordinating and analyzing monthly forecasts, quarterly forecasts, and annual budgets, including liaison with the Lead Analyst, FP & A Manager;
- Preparing PowerPoint presentations to support [Media Service Line] reviews at Capability/Department/Practice Area level;
- Focusing on timely and accurate resolution of key accruals and inaccuracies through collaboration with Financial Control;
- Producing monthly and other reporting requirements for the Service Line;
- Supporting and working collaboratively with the wider FP&A team, Commercial Finance, and Operational Finance teams.
Required skills and qualifications include:
- A combination of MBA Finance or Commerce Graduate degree with relevant experience (3+ years) or Qualified Accountant with PQE (2+ years);
- Prior experience in FP&A, preferably within a similar industry context;
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills;
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal;
- Confidence in working across functions and levels;
- Demonstrable experience in informed review and analysis of results and forecasts;
- Problem-solving and analytical mindset;
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks under pressure.
We estimate the salary range for this position to be ₹900,000 - ₹1,300,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
