Job Summary

Cropin is seeking a highly skilled Financial Planning and Analysis Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of financial activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and building financial models to provide information and insights to senior management.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Regular monitoring and tracking of revenue and expenses for a SaaS business
  • Review of revenue recognition to ensure that revenue is being booked in line with the terms of the contract
  • Creation and management of customer contracts repository
  • Computation, tracking, and reporting of various SaaS business metrics and unit economics
  • Build analytical processes to support revenue and expense analysis and validation
  • Working closely with the accounting team to ensure accuracy of expense booking
  • Analysis of budget vs actuals along with detailed explanation for variance
  • Working closely with internal departments to prepare the expense plan and forecast
  • Preparation of the monthly MIS
  • Preparation of standard and adhoc presentations for Board and Management meetings
  • Support opex management and work on cost optimization initiatives

Best fit profile

  • CA/MBA with 4-5 years of overall experience of which at least 2 yrs is in an FP&A role.
  • Should be pro-active, self-motivated, energetic, and mature person who is result oriented.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in MS Excel and Powerpoint.
  • Detail oriented and organized.
  • Must be adaptable and a quick learner.
