Senior Executive Engineer

Job Description:

As a Senior Executive Engineer, you will drive engineering excellence across the organization. Your key responsibilities include promoting code quality, automation, reliability, and performance.

  • Develop and maintain tools, frameworks, and dashboards to enhance software development lifecycle (SDLC) efficiency.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for technical improvement.
  • Champion continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) practices by automating build, test, and deployment pipelines.
  • Promote modern development practices such as test-driven development (TDD), pair programming, and code reviews.
  • Lead initiatives to improve engineering onboarding, knowledge sharing, and documentation standards.
  • Analyze engineering metrics (e.g., deployment frequency, mean time to recovery, code coverage) and provide actionable insights.
  • Act as a liaison between engineering, DevOps, QA, and product management to align on technical excellence goals.
  • Conduct regular assessments and audits of engineering practices, tools, and technologies.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this position, you should possess a strong background in mechanical engineering or a related field. A minimum of 5-7 years of experience is required, with hands-on experience working with biopharma equipment. Key skills include operational excellence, process excellence, and hands-on experience with biopharma equipment.
