Electrical Engineer Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to drive master project electrical design work for hardware control panel design as per global regulatory and industry standards.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Create master EPLAN schematics using Electric P8 software v2.9 as per IEC and ISO standards, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Plan, execute, and monitor master EPLAN hardware projects, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance productivity and quality.
  • Develop strong working relationships with stakeholders to coordinate work activities, facilitate effective communication, and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Systems & Standards and Master Migration Team, to achieve common goals and objectives.
Functional Core:
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost reductions, additional features, and user-friendliness in Hardware functions, driving innovation and excellence.
  • Execute change management for master hardware design-related activities, ensuring seamless transitions and minimal disruptions.
  • Conduct technical training sessions to promote productivity, accuracy, and quality, enhancing the skills and knowledge of team members.
  • Explore EPLAN integration with PLM, leveraging technology to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Internal Process:
  • Collaborate with Master Software and Master Documentation (D&S) team to execute master projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and requirements.
  • Coordinate with Master, Operation, and NPD teams to manage change control processes, ensuring delivery meets customer expectations.
People Development:
  • Attend identified training needs and deliver results, upskilling and reskilling team members to meet evolving business demands.
  • Resolve workplace problems around expertise, providing guidance and support to ensure employees have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
