This is a full-time remote role for a Solar Design Engineer. As a Solar Design Engineer at Green Pulse Engineering, you will be responsible for designing and optimizing solar energy systems. Your day-to-day tasks will involve conducting site assessments, analyzing solar potential, designing system layouts, and creating electrical drawings. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the efficient and effective implementation of solar projects.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related field
  • Experience in solar design, including the use of software such as AutoCAD, PVsyst, Helioscope, or similar
  • Knowledge of electrical systems and codes, as well as solar industry best practices
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to perform site assessments and determine solar potential
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience with project management and ensuring timely completion of deliverables
  • Knowledge of renewable energy policies and regulations
  • Passion for sustainability and renewable energy
