Project Manager Solar Energy

We are seeking an accomplished Project Manager – Solar with extensive experience in leading and managing MW-scale solar power projects.

The ideal candidate will have complete ownership of project planning, execution, and delivery while ensuring adherence to safety, quality, budget, and timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and execute detailed project execution plans aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Develop project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Establish KPIs and project monitoring mechanisms.

Responsibilities also include:

  • Overseeing end-to-end execution of solar projects from initiation to commissioning.
  • Ensuring strict adherence to scope, cost, and timelines.
  • Monitoring daily site progress, coordinating with site engineers and contractors.
  • Implementing corrective actions in case of deviations or delays.

Technical expertise is required in:

  • Reviewing and validating engineering designs, layouts, and technical specifications.
  • Ensuring compliance with electrical, civil, and mechanical design standards.
  • Providing technical guidance to engineering and site teams.
  • Ensuring smooth integration of solar systems with grid / BESS

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical / Electronics / Energy or equivalent. (Master's preferred).
  • 12+ years of experience in managing large-scale Solar EPC / Utility / C&I projects.
  • Proven track record of handling MW-scale solar projects.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, project execution methodologies, and renewable energy regulations.
  • Experience in contract management, procurement, and vendor management.
