Dynamic Financial Analyst Role

We are seeking a seasoned financial professional to spearhead our project finance-based financial modeling endeavors.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in finance, accounting or business, coupled with extensive experience in building, developing and running project finance models.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Designing, developing and executing complex financial models for Solar PV and Energy Storage projects
  2. Evaluating RFPs to gather critical assumptions and structuring them into the financial model used for bidding processes
  3. Collaborating with various teams to ensure seamless integration of inputs, including Development, Project Financing, Finance, EPC and others, as required for populating assumptions and structure in the financial model
  4. Supporting Development, EPC and Financing teams in running case studies and scenarios to optimize economic benefits and analyze key drivers
  5. Assisting model auditors with the audit process as needed
  6. Providing expert guidance to lenders during the project finance process
  7. Complete ownership of financial models; supporting the bidding team on all matters related to financial modeling
  8. Maintaining and updating financial models pre and post financial close
  9. Creating compelling presentations related to financial analysis
  10. Training and supervising junior modelers

Requirements:

  1. A degree in business, finance or accounting from a reputable institution
  2. At least 10 years of experience in building, developing and running project finance-based financial models
  3. 4-5 years of hands-on experience with financial modeling in solar/renewable projects
  4. Proven ability to execute complex tasks with a can-do attitude and passion for financial modeling
  5. Strong team collaboration skills and cross-functional expertise
  6. Recognized university degree - Bachelor or above
