Job Overview

The Business Development Support role is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a highly motivated individual to work with a global team of experts in the field of carbon neutrality, sustainability, and renewable energy.

This position involves supporting our Business Development team in various services including carbon advisory, renewable energy, sustainability, and NBS projects. The successful candidate will closely work with our experienced team to identify new business opportunities, develop sales pitches, and generate leads through regular follow-ups.

Responsibilities:
  • Support in developing knowledgebase of carbon markets via desk-based research
  • Research and identify new business opportunities, including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, and services
  • Seek out appropriate contacts in organizations and generate leads through regular follow-ups
  • Assist seniors in developing sales pitches for prospective clients and participate in presentations of business ideas
  • Coordinate with other departments for smooth workflow and expedite processes
  • Draw up client contracts based on company size and service requirements
  • Support reporting managers in tracking and maintaining leads generated and providing data for client-specific presentations
Requirements:
  • Relevant qualifications
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in Renewable Energy / Carbon Consultancy / Power Sector / WTE / NBS
  • Ability to write reports, prepare PowerPoint presentations, and prepare contracts
  • Effective time management skills to meet multiple deadlines and priorities
  • Proactive attitude, responsibility for tasks assigned, and excellent written and spoken English
  • Good communication and report-writing skills
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Team player with adaptable working nature and multitasking ability
