Purpose of the Role:
Our organization is seeking a seasoned Senior Portfolio Manager - Renewable Energy Insurance, skilled in managing and optimizing insurance programs for large-scale renewable energy projects. This role spans across all project lifecycle stages, from development and construction to operations and maintenance.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing comprehensive insurance strategies, ensuring adequate coverage, and driving cost-effective solutions. A strong understanding of both insurance principles and the specific risks associated with renewable energy projects is essential.
We require a highly experienced professional with an MBA in Finance/Insurance from a premier institute. The candidate should have 10-15 years of relevant experience in the Power/Transmission industry, with a deep understanding of Indian Insurance Market and insurance products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the renewal process for various insurance policies, including Property All Risks (IAR/Mega Risk), Business Interruption, Marine Cargo, Construction All Risks (CAR), Erection All Risks (EAR), Public Liability, Environmental Liability, Professional Indemnity, and Cyber Insurance.
- Review and negotiate policy wordings, terms, and conditions with brokers and underwriters to ensure optimal coverage and competitive pricing.
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments for new and existing renewable energy projects, identifying potential exposures.
