Portfolio Investment Specialist

The successful candidate will be responsible for dealing with a wide array of investment opportunities, spanning multiple asset classes. They must possess in-depth knowledge of financial markets and instruments, as well as the ability to analyze complex data sets.

Responsibilities:
  • Conducting thorough analyses of potential investments to ensure they align with the company's overall strategy;
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including investors and industry partners;
  • Overseeing the implementation of new investment initiatives, including due diligence and risk assessment;
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and identify new revenue streams;
  • Creating detailed reports and presentations to communicate investment strategies and results to senior leadership;
  • Staying up-to-date on market trends and regulatory developments that may impact the company's investment activities;
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field;
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in investment analysis or a related field;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and external partners;
  • Proficiency in financial modeling tools and software, including Excel and Bloomberg;
  • Ability to think critically and make informed decisions in a dynamic and often ambiguous environment;
  • Passion for staying current on market trends and regulatory developments that impact the investment industry;
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Advanced degree in Finance or a related field;
  • Professional certifications, such as CFA or CAIA;
  • Experience working with BI tools, such as QuickSight or PowerBI;
  • Fluency in additional languages, including Spanish, Mandarin, or Arabic;
  • Background in portfolio management or asset allocation;
