Our organization is seeking an Electrical Procurement Specialist who will be responsible for handling end-to-end procurement of electrical items. The role demands strong vendor management, negotiation, and technical understanding of electrical materials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, evaluate, and finalize vendors for electrical products (cables, switchgears, panels, etc.).
- Float RFQs, prepare price comparison sheets, and negotiate for the best pricing, credit terms, and delivery schedules.
- Review and interpret SLDs (Single Line Diagrams) and BOQs (Bill of Quantities) to ensure purchases align with project needs.
- Maintain and update vendor lists, develop new suppliers, and conduct vendor audits for quality assurance.
- Coordinate with project/logistics teams for dispatches, tracking, and resolving any delays or discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate procurement records (quotations, POs, payments, approvals).
Qualifications & Experience:
- Diploma/Bachelor's/Master's in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 3–4 years of procurement experience in an electrical trading company.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and email communication.
- Strong negotiation, vendor management, and analytical skills.
