Procurement Specialist in IT

Job Description

We are looking for a Procurement Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for facilitating the approval of all IT procurement projects and ensuring activities are adhered to Group Procurement Policies and associated processes.

The role will also involve working closely with internal teams to provide procurement services to Functional/Business stakeholders within the company. This includes supporting IT RFx sourcing projects, vendor comparison analyses, and ongoing vendor assessments.

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Facilitate the approval process for IT procurement projects
  • Work with internal teams to provide procurement services
  • Support IT RFx sourcing projects and vendor comparison analyses
  • Liaise with vendors and internal clients globally
  • Coordinate with internal/external stakeholders
  • Prepare and publish periodic management reports

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, procurement, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement or a similar position
  • Sound knowledge of IT industry procurements
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or similar tools
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
