Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Human Resources professional to join our team as a HR Generalist. As a key member of our HR function, you will be responsible for optimizing and improving the employee experience, creating a more meaningful and satisfying work environment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in helping others, a service-first attitude, and a desire to learn and grow with the organization.

 

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive HR operational support across the EMEA region, focusing on France and French-speaking employees.

  • Collaborate with leadership to develop HR strategies that align with business objectives across the EMEA region.

  • Build strong relationships with cross-functional teams to understand and meet employee engagement needs.

  • Serve as the main point of contact for employee inquiries and support, managing issues, grievances, and conflict resolution across EMEA.

  • Handle employee relations matters, including policy interpretation, documentation, and working closely with the HRBP and legal teams where necessary.

  • Offer guidance on performance management and support resolution for employee-related concerns.

  • Ensure a seamless and engaging onboarding experience for new hires, tailored to the needs of different employee groups in the EMEA region.

  • Represent HR on internal committees focused on improving employee experience and engagement.

  • Maintain accurate employee records through HR systems, managing employee transactions (hiring, promotions, transfers, etc.).

  • Develop and run HRIS reports to track HR data, including benefits participation, turnover, and other employee metrics.

  • Ensure that HR practices across EMEA comply with local labor laws and statutory requirements.

  • Assist with the development and communication of HR policies and procedures in line with organizational values.

  • Handle employee separation notices and ensure related documentation is prepared accurately.

  • Conduct exit interviews to gather insights on employee departures and report findings for continuous improvement.

  • Assist with various HR projects and initiatives as required, ensuring smooth execution across EMEA.

  • Contribute to the development of organizational HR policies and manuals.

 

Required Skills and Qualifications

Key Requirements:

  • 4+ years of HR-related experience, with a focus on employee relations, HRIS, and employee experience.

  • Fluent in French and English spoken and written.

  • Strong knowledge of employee relations and labor laws across EMEA, especially France.

  • Previous experience working in a global, multi-location business is an asset.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a matrixed environment.

  • Proficiency in Excel and HRIS system.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset.
