Benefits Administrator Role Overview

This position is a pivotal part of our organization's workforce, focused on delivering Workday Benefits solutions to meet client needs. As a subject matter expert in Workday HCM and Benefits, you will drive operational efficiency, ensure compliance, and improve employee experience through streamlined benefits administration.

  • Expertise:
  • Hands-on configuration and administration of the Workday Benefits module.
  • Led multiple Open Enrollment cycles and supported life events.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. and Canada benefits systems, legislation, and regulations.
  • Familiarity with ACA compliance, HIPAA considerations, and COBRA administration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver Workday Benefits solutions that meet client requirements.
  • Configure and administer the Workday Benefits module.
  • Lead multiple Open Enrollment cycles and support life events.
  • Develop and maintain strong knowledge of U.S. and Canada benefits systems, legislation, and regulations.
  • Stay up-to-date with ACA compliance, HIPAA considerations, and COBRA administration.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 4–6 years of relevant experience in Workday HCM Benefits modules, with Workday HCM/Benefits certification preferred.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in information technology, Business Administration, or Human Resources (advanced degree preferred).
  • Technical/Analytical Skills: Report creation, data extraction, and validation for accuracy and compliance.
  • Continuous Improvement: Ability to assess Workday updates, adopt new features, and document solutions using ticketing systems.
