Technical Product Manager

The role requires a strategic thinker with excellent technical and business acumen to lead the execution of product lifecycle processes for our Insurtech products and platforms. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely fulfillment of product requirements, evaluate product performance, and transition products from development to commercialization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and contribute to the execution of product lifecycle processes for our Insurtech products and platforms.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure timely fulfillment of product requirements.
  • Evaluate product performance and transition products from development to commercialization.
  • Lead technical discussions with Engineering teams and thoroughly manage technical/business requirements.
  • Mentor/Drive a team of Product Managers while acting as a technical consultant to the product organization.
  • Ensures the technology and architectural roadmap of engineering is properly aligned with and supports the product/business road map.
  • Acts as a customer liaison on technical issues related to product integration, custom development, and requirements.
  • May lead major releases and ensure feature enhancements respond to customer requests.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 9+ years of experience in Product Management, including analyzing software/product design, development, and deployment.
  • Bachelor's/Master's or equivalent degree in technology or related field.
  • Strong background of working as a Technical & Functional Product Manager or Business Analyst/Product Analyst in an enterprise environment.
  • Hands-on understanding of API Integration, SQL, Data Analysis, etc.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC & technology system interfaces, data integration, networks, and operating systems.
  • Cooking & mentoring a team of Product Managers or Product Owners.
  • An SME who performs work with a high degree of latitude; handles the most complex issues.
  • Possess strong Communication skills, Problem-solving & Analytical thinking skills.
  • Can lead individual assignments & deliver with strong expertise.
  • Expert level experience in delivery methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and the use of relevant tools.
  • Ability to influence, lead, and work as part of a cross-functional in a global team setup.
  • Experience in Life & Annuity Industry is preferred, not mandatory.
