Job Overview

Main Responsibilities
  • Talent Acquisition and Development
    • Collaborate with department heads to understand staffing needs.
    • Develop effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
    • Conduct interviews and participate in the selection process.
    • Oversee the onboarding process for new hires.
  • Employee Relations and Engagement
    • Foster a positive workplace culture.
    • Address employee issues, concerns, and conflicts promptly and impartially.
    • Conduct regular employee engagement initiatives to promote diversity and inclusion.
  • Performance Management and Evaluation
    • Implement performance appraisal systems.
    • Provide guidance on goal setting and performance improvement.
    • Develop and implement employee development plans.
  • HR Policies and Compliance
    • Develop and update HR policies and procedures in compliance with local labor laws.
    • Ensure adherence to labor regulations in the region.
    • Stay updated on changes in employment legislation and update policies accordingly.
  • Training and Career Development
    • Identify training needs and coordinate training programs.
    • Facilitate workshops on topics such as leadership, communication, and teamwork.
    • Support career development initiatives to enhance employee growth.
  • Benefits Administration
    • Manage employee benefits programs effectively.
    • Ensure accurate and timely administration of benefits.
    • Communicate benefits information to employees clearly.
  • Employee Records and Data Protection
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
    • Ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
    • Handle documentation related to employee life cycle events securely.
  • Knowledge of Labour Law and Statutory Compliance
    • Stay informed about local labor laws and ensure compliance.
    • Interpret and apply labor laws to various HR functions effectively.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an HR Manager, preferably in the region.
  • In-depth knowledge of local labor laws, EPF, and ESIC schemes.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
  • Should be able to handle HR activities of industrial, agricultural, hospitality, and construction sectors.
