Desktop Engineer Position

We are seeking a skilled and meticulous Desktop Engineer to join our IT team. This role is responsible for ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and security of our computing environments.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in Windows systems, hardware troubleshooting, networking fundamentals, and remote support tools. The successful applicant will be able to install, configure, and maintain Windows operating systems and enterprise applications, troubleshoot and repair hardware issues, and perform software installation, updates, patching, and configuration.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, configure, and maintain Windows operating systems and enterprise applications.
  • Troubleshoot and repair hardware issues including desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
  • Perform software installation, updates, patching, and configuration.
  • Manage and monitor networking services (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
  • Provide remote technical support using tools such as TeamViewer, AnyDesk, and RDP.
  • Implement and manage system imaging, backups, and restore procedures.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a Desktop Engineer/System Engineer/System Administrator/IT Support Engineer role.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and hardware troubleshooting.
  • Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
  • Experience with remote desktop support tools (TeamViewer, AnyDesk, RDP).
  • Knowledge of system imaging and backup solutions.
Preferred Certifications:
  • Cisco CCNA (basic understanding helpful for hardware evaluation)
