
Human Capital Strategist

We are seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Manager to join our team. As an integral part of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing all human resource operations with a strong focus on recruitment, compliance, employee engagement, and operational efficiency.
This is a high-impact, cross-functional role suited for someone who is process-oriented, people-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, remote setup. You will be responsible for managing the full-cycle recruitment process, building a robust candidate pipeline, partnering with internal stakeholders, maintaining recruitment trackers, and ensuring timely communication with candidates.
You will also be responsible for drafting, updating, and maintaining employee contracts in compliance with UK employment laws, maintaining and revising the employee handbook and company policies, handling queries related to HR policies, implementing and monitoring a streamlined timesheet submission process, and ensuring timely reminders, accuracy in submissions, and resolving any inconsistencies in logged hours.
Furthermore, you will coordinate with the finance team to ensure timely salary disbursals, contractor payments, and reimbursements, maintain records of employee compensation, incentives, bonuses, and one-time payments, track and manage documentation related to freelance and part-time contributors, build projection models as directed by management, lead initiatives around employee engagement, including birthday and festival gifting, appreciation notes, and team bonding activities, coordinate bonus and incentive programs, promote a culture of recognition and feedback, administer the company's study leave and exam reimbursement policy, track certification attempts, submissions, leave taken for exams, and documents required for reimbursement eligibility, support learning and development initiatives, design and execute a structured onboarding process, ensure a consistent and positive new hire experience, conduct offboarding, including resignation acceptance, handover coordination, and exit interviews, and maintain accurate records of employee information, performance evaluations, and other relevant data.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of HR experience, preferably within a startup, consultancy, or remote-first organisation.
- Sound understanding of HR operations, UK employment regulations, and HR best practices.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience working with tools such as Microsoft Excel, Google Workspace, and HR software or trackers.
- Ability to work independently and maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
