We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Analytical Instruments Sales Manager to lead our sales team in promoting our comprehensive range of analytical instruments. Orbit Technologies Pvt Ltd has been providing complete solutions to its customers from a simple pH meter to a complete Water, Environmental, Food, Coal, Minerals & Materials analysis instrumentation for over 25 years. Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy Development: Design and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth in the analytical instruments sector.
  • Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and team sales goals, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions to meet their analytical requirements.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, competitive landscape, and potential opportunities for business expansion.
  • Product Knowledge: Maintain an in-depth understanding of our product portfolio and industry trends to effectively communicate benefits and features to clients.
  • Sales Forecasting: Prepare accurate sales forecasts and reports for upper management, providing insights into sales performance and market conditions.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, technical support, and product development teams to ensure alignment on sales initiatives and product offerings.
  • Training and Development: Provide ongoing training and support to the sales team on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer engagement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or equivalent experience preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in sales management within the analytical instruments or related field.
  • Strong technical knowledge of analytical instruments and applications, including but not limited to chromatography, spectroscopy, and mass spectrometry.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
