Job Title: Procurement Expert

Job Description:

As a skilled procurement professional, you will play a pivotal role in driving strategic sourcing initiatives within the organization's Procurement Centre of Excellence.

You will foster and manage relationships with key stakeholders, execute the sourcing process, and provide support on related governance requirements. Your primary focus will be on continually enhancing procurement processes and ensuring seamless execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage high-volume engagements with prompt turnaround times.
  • Lead clients through the sourcing process, including contract negotiations and execution.
  • Identify and resolve procurement issues, including contractual terms and conditions.
  • Apply project management principles to the planning and execution of the sourcing process.
  • Ensure adherence to established governance policies prior to final approval.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of relevant sourcing/procurement experience.
  • Proven expertise in leading sourcing initiatives and developing effective strategies.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and uncertainty.
  • Familiarity with vendor contract language and contract management systems.
  • Understanding of general procurement challenges and solutions.
