We are seeking an exceptional Operational Leader to drive the delivery of our India strategy. The successful candidate will oversee operations, governance, and compliance for three entities.

This role requires a senior executive who will be based in the Bengaluru office at least two days per week, managing a talented team of 11 professionals.

The Operational Leader will lead the local office, ensure statutory compliance, hold a directorship, and facilitate seamless collaboration with international colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as legal representative and Director for all Indian entities
  • Oversee budgeting, team management, financial planning, and reporting across all business units
  • Lead and develop the Bengaluru-based team; mentor managers and foster a high-performance culture
  • Deliver against a mission-led strategy focused on professional development, engineering excellence, and social impact
  • Liaise with international teams to ensure operational alignment
  • Represent the organization with confidence in legal, governance, and business forums

About you:

  • Proven operational leadership experience in India - ideally in a professional membership body or similarly regulated environment
  • Exceptional understanding of governance, compliance, and HR practices
  • Strong financial acumen and experience managing P&L
  • Ability to drive strategy with warmth, rigour, and agility
  • Line management experience with the gravitas to lead national delivery
