Staff Engineer Role

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and oversee specifications for product hardware to ensure seamless system integration.
  2. Conduct in-depth reviews of hardware design and firmware control, focusing on electrical and functional compliance.
  3. Establish and implement test plans to verify product reliability and mitigate safety concerns.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to track product development milestones and technical updates.
  5. Oversee Design for Excellence initiatives and mentor team members to adhere to established technical standards.
  6. Research new concepts to inform future product innovation and identify cost-competitive technological alternatives.
  7. Validate design concepts through circuit simulations and prototyping.

Desired Qualifications and Skills:

  • Master's degree in Power Electronics or a related field, with 8-12 years of experience.
  • Strong understanding of closed-loop control and compensator design principles.
  • Experience with high-speed or high-power semiconductor devices, specifically power converter designs above 100kVA.
  • Proven technical knowledge and competence in system-level design.
  • Ability to manage multiple power electronics projects involving analog and digital electronics.
  • Excellent circuit debugging and troubleshooting capabilities.
