Cloud Transformation Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Transformation Expert to lead our cloud adoption initiatives.

  • The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor of Computer Science or equivalent degree and relevant certifications such as Red Hat Certified Architect, Azure Cloud Architect, AWS Cloud Architect, or OCI Cloud Implementation.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a technical leadership position is required, with at least 3 years of experience in large organizations.

The selected candidate will be responsible for leading transformation projects migrating on-prem workloads to Public Cloud solutions, leveraging expertise in Terraform and Ansible for application migration. Strong pipeline management skills using Jenkins and GITOPS configuration management are essential.

The candidate must have expert knowledge in comparing services across Public Cloud providers and understand cloud adoption models for major cloud services CPU Architectures, Storage, and Network connectivity. Knowledge in Windows internals and API communications (Rest/Soap) is also desired.

Detailed understanding of infrastructure and how it works, including DNS (Authoritative and Non-Authoritative DNS, Dynamic and bind DNS, Forwarder), SSL Communication (Handshake of SSL traffic, Cipher Suites, Encryption Algorithms), Active Directory (Security OUs, policies), Certificates (SAN, client-authentication, keystores, mutual SSL), Load balancers / Site Selectors / Firewall, Vault Tools (CyberArk / Hashicorp), High Availability, and Container Technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift).

Strong scripting skills in Groovy, Bash, PowerShell, and Python, along with expertise in Repository and Artifact management Tools (Red Hat Satellite, Spacewalk, Nexus), Agile methodologies and its ceremonies, Strategic Thinking with Research and Development mindset, and Adequate understanding of project management methodologies are necessary.

The ideal candidate should possess Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation).
