Senior Cloud DevSecOps Engineer Job Description

As a Senior Cloud DevSecOps Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the secure and seamless delivery of software systems across various cloud platforms. This position demands technical expertise in cloud security, DevOps practices, and modern infrastructure tooling.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement secure CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and Azure DevOps.
  • Architect and manage multi-cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.
  • Implement container orchestration with Kubernetes, including Helm charts and service meshes.
  • Develop and enforce DevSecOps policies using tools like Snyk, Aqua Security, and HashiCorp Vault.
  • Integrate security controls into CI/CD workflows and build monitoring and observability stacks using Prometheus and Grafana.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience designing and supporting scalable systems in production environments.
  • Deep understanding of DevSecOps principles and shift-left security.
  • Expertise in CI/CD tooling and automation across multiple platforms.
  • Advanced knowledge of Kubernetes internals and Linux namespaces/cgroups.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and Bash.
