We are seeking a highly skilled Healthcare Strategist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to play a critical role in advancing our health strategy.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in public health systems and experience in guiding community healthcare initiatives.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing strategies to strengthen primary care systems and institutions. You will also work closely with our team to ensure regular grant releases, identification of sector priorities, opportunities for collaborations, and contribution to our health strategy.

We are looking for a candidate with exceptional analytical and strategic thinking abilities, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to influence and collaborate effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design & Strategy: Document project/grant proposals, conduct project reviews, and monitor related projects in the Primary Care domain.
  • Coaching & Mentoring: Guide Programme Officers in their day-to-day activities while contributing to the organizational leadership pipeline.
  • Institutional Engagement: Lead evaluations and ensure strategic alignment of institutions seeded by us.
  • Internal Processes: Oversee MIS, LFA, Fluxx, Internal Audit, and Annual Work Plan processes.
  • Grant Reviews: Assist in reviewing grant requests and partnership opportunities.
  • Internal Reviews: Participate in review meetings and attend to tasks assigned by management.

Qualifications and Experience:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • MD/ MBBS with MBA/ MPH/ MHA (essential).
  • Qualification in Quality Frameworks such as NABH, NQAS, JCI, etc. (desirable).
  • A minimum of 12 years of post-qualification, relevant work experience in Primary Care settings within Public Health Organizations/Academic Medical Institutions.
