Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Okta Solution Architect to join our Identity and Access Management (IAM) team. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Okta Identity Cloud, including hands-on experience in architecture, implementation, integration, and support of Okta-based solutions in complex enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the technical lead and subject matter expert for Okta solutions across projects.
  • Design, configure, and implement Okta Identity Cloud features including Single Sign-On, Multi-Factor Authentication, Lifecycle Management, Universal Directory, and API access management.
  • Integrate Okta with various applications using SAML, OIDC, SCIM, and other protocols.
  • Work closely with client stakeholders, engineering teams, and security leads to define access control strategies and identity workflows.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to authentication, authorization, and provisioning.
  • Conduct health checks, upgrades, patching, and performance tuning of Okta environments.

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of overall experience in IAM with at least 3+ years of hands-on experience with Okta Identity Cloud.
  • Strong knowledge of Single Sign-On, Multi-Factor Authentication, OAuth2.0, OIDC, SAML, SCIM, and API security.
  • Experience with Okta Workflows, custom scripting, and identity automation.
  • Familiarity with integrating Okta with cloud services such as AWS, Azure, Google Workspace, and Office 365.
  • Understanding of security frameworks and compliance standards such as NIST, ISO27001, and GDPR.
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
  • Okta certifications are a strong advantage.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with adjacent IAM tools such as SailPoint, Saviynt, or CyberArk.
  • Scripting skills for automation and customization.
  • Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native IAM practices.

The successful candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, be able to communicate complex technical concepts effectively, and possess a strong understanding of identity and access management principles.
