We're seeking a seasoned Data Engineering professional to drive operational and financial excellence in procurement.

The Opportunity

This role will focus on developing and optimizing data pipelines, ensuring seamless integration of diverse procurement systems and robust data quality management.

You'll collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements, design and implement effective data solutions, and ensure timely resolution of data-related issues.

  • Develop sophisticated SQL queries for data manipulation and reporting tasks.
  • Maintain complex data mappings to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to gather data requirements and facilitate the integration of procurement data systems.

A strong understanding of data engineering principles, ETL/ELT technologies, DataOps tools, and cloud-based data solutions is essential. Proficiency in SQL, Python, and GitLab for version control and CI/CD automation is also required.

Your Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • A university degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related disciplines.
  • 2-3 years of work experience in data engineering, preferably with procurement analytics experience.
  • Hands-on experience with Snowflake environments and proficiency in ETL/ELT technologies, DataOps, and tools such as Talend/dbt/GitLab.
  • Expertise in SQL and preferably Python for database querying and data transformation.
