Job Opportunity:

The Wireless Infrastructure Product Group focuses on the development of integrated transceiver SoCs for wireless base station markets, covering 3G/4G/4.5G/AAS technologies.

Products based on low-IF, zero-IF and RF sampling architectures are developed by this team. These products comprise high performance RF front-end, analog base-band, high speed converters, digital front-end, signal processing algorithms, embedded micro-controllers, high speed interfaces, etc.

These integrated transceivers support very high bandwidths, requiring high speed GHz data-path processing, and are developed in advanced sub-micron technology nodes, like 28 nm. Power consumption is a critical aspect that needs to be addressed through differentiated architectures and designs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work with Systems Engineering Team to define and architect new products.
  • Design, supervision of layout, and verification of analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits.
  • Interact with Product Engineering to characterize Silicon and transfer integrated circuits from design to production.
  • Collaborate with Test Engineering to ensure proper test coverage of the product.
  • Interact with Application Engineering to ensure successful use of products in the market place.


Requirements:
- Experienced with IC design and full development cycle from definition through release to production.
- Effective communication skills to interact with all stakeholders.
- Knowledge of analog circuit design techniques, including but not limited to operational amplifiers, voltage/current references, data converters, oscillators, and switched-capacitor circuits is necessary.
- Knowledge of digital circuit design techniques, including but not limited to counters, timers, state-machines and combinational logic is also required.
- Must be highly focused and remain committed to obtaining closure on project goals.
- Team and People Skills: The candidate should have good people skills to work closely with the layout, test and design team

Preferred Skills:
- 2-5 years of experience in analog development including designs of ADCs, DACs, PLLs, Oscillators, DC-DC converters, LDOs, Bandgaps, Op-Amps, Comparators.
- Experience with Cadence design tools for analog/mixed-signal IC design
