Enterprise Risk Management Professional

Job Overview:

As a seasoned data management professional, you will lead efforts to establish and manage data governance policies, data lineage tracking, and data quality management, specifically focusing on risk data across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Governance Framework Development & Management:
    • Develop and maintain a robust data governance framework tailored to risk data management, ensuring alignment with organizational risk management strategies and regulatory requirements.
    • Establish and enforce data governance policies, procedures, and standards to ensure risk data integrity, security, and compliance with financial regulations.
    • Ensure the adoption and consistent application of data governance processes across business units and data domains.
  • Data Quality Management:
    • Develop and implement data quality standards, metrics, and KPIs specifically for risk data, monitoring for accuracy, completeness, timeliness, and consistency.
    • Perform regular data quality assessments, identify gaps, and drive initiatives to improve data quality across various systems.
    • Investigate and resolve data quality issues and recommend solutions for process improvements.
  • Compliance and Regulatory Requirements:
    • Ensure data governance and data quality initiatives meet regulatory and compliance requirements, including BCBS239 and other banking and financial services regulators.
    • Maintain an in-depth understanding of industry best practices, regulatory guidelines, and risk management related to data management in the financial sector.
