About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Patent Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for drafting patent applications for inventions in information and communication technologies.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on various projects, including delivering prosecution projects, formulating response strategies for office actions, and drafting complete responses. You will also be responsible for training team members on multiple technical areas and mentoring them on assigned technology areas and providing guidance for drafting and prosecution work.

Your expertise in process knowledge will enable you to produce consistent results in assigned tasks, and your ability to perform multiple tasks independently will allow you to create processes for client deliverables and talent development.

You will also be responsible for analyzing problems using available tools and providing recommendations, as well as participating in the hiring process by preparing test papers and evaluating candidates.

As a leader, you will have the opportunity to lead team members in specialized technical assignments and projects.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering or technology from a reputable institution.
  • Excellent domain knowledge in ICT field.
  • 4+ years of experience in patent drafting and/or prosecution, with at least two years in patent drafting for US jurisdiction.

Experience drafting 50+ patent applications for the US domain is required.
