Civil Design Engineer Position

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of civil and structural design principles, with proficiency in design and drafting tools such as AutoCAD and STAAD.

They will be responsible for reviewing and interpreting engineering designs issued by the Head Office for implementation at site, preparing or modifying civil designs/drawings as required, and ensuring execution of foundations, trenches, drainage, boundary walls, and roads as per design.

Key responsibilities include developing detailed civil/structural drawings, verifying ground conditions through site surveys and soil/level checks, and managing ground levels for difficult civil works at site.

The successful candidate will also be skilled in problem-solving and able to create quick design solutions at site while adhering to codes and safety norms.

A strong academic background in Civil Engineering is mandatory, with 5–8 years of experience in civil design and site execution preferably in solar/renewable/industrial projects.

Familiarity with IS codes and solar industry standards will be an advantage.


  • Strong understanding of foundation, drainage, and structural design principles.
  • Proficiency in civil/structural design and drafting tools (AutoCAD, STAAD, etc.).
  • Knowledge of solar project-specific civil works (MMS foundations, inverter rooms, roads).
  • Ability to create quick design solutions at site while adhering to codes and safety norms.
  • Problem-solving mindset for on-ground engineering challenges.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (mandatory).
  • 5–8 years of experience in civil design and site execution (solar/renewable/industrial projects preferred).
  • Familiarity with IS codes and solar industry standards will be an advantage.
